My rapidly aging butt and lower back are screaming for a more comfortable seat with back rest. Riding is solo. I'm average height and weight. What are your recommendations?

Thanks,
Tom

Mustang or Corbin come to mind right off the top of my head. I know there are others, and you could always have your present seat upgraded by a custom shop. I have a Mustang wide touring and I and the wife love it. I hardly have enough a$$ to fill the driver seat, but it sure does make the ride more comfortable. You can also get an adjustable backrest insert for the mustang.

https://www.twocycleguys.com/p-1942...c-wide-touring-studded-seat-honda-vt1100.aspx They have the best price on new Mustang seats but don't list them unless you enter the seat model number in their product search. Do your research on the Mustang seat web site for the style you like and for fit.

Mustang.....Amen.
But definitely get the one with the adjustable, removable drivers' backrest.
You'll thank us all, later!

Mustang works for me.. Backrest too.. Couldn't ride more than 40 miles on the stock seat without wanting to jump-ship.. The Mustang? I can ride all day on that seat and still want to remain seated when I pull over for break :)

Shipping Options: We ship to the continental USA through multiple carriers. By using multiple carriers and methods (ground/standard, air/expedited) we can provide our customers the shipping option they prefer. All available shipping options will be displayed during the checkout process.

You might check shipping costs. ;) Also DKirk was the cheapest in 09' but they tacked on a "oversize" package charge @ $10 at checkout.

2cycle guys shipping for the wide Mustang seat with backrest is $15.61 to my place in MN. No oversize charge unless it's included in the shipping cost.

The mustamg seat came on the bike when I bought it.
The original seat came with it also, and a set of saddlebags. I pulled off the bags, and while I had the bags off I tried the original seat - Big Diff!
I put the Mustang right back on... It's way more comfortable, and my wife says the back is way more comfy too.
