I got the bike used and it has aftermarket turn signals on it. One of my lenses seems to be cracking apart, I noticed it when I replaced the bulbs. Looks like it might have been over tightened.

Anyway, I am having hard time finding replacement lenses that size and thought maybe the next best thing would be to replace the whole assembly - but looking at the wiring it's all routed into the headlight. Guessing ground, turn, and running light, all through a black wrap to keep things neat and tidy.

On the factory ones (he gave me the stock parts) it looks like 2 wires are cut and one wire has a push in connector on it.

Before I dig into it, how difficult of a job is this for someone who doesn't solder?

Replacing turn signals is one of the easiest ways to modify your bike and add your own touches. 3 wires per up front, 2 each in the back. Soldering is nice, but I don't believe required. If it was me I'd use good quality (gold) make and female connectors. Using connectors you can change them again down the road if you choose or need. Most parts houses have little packages of bulb/electrical grease right there at the counter. Glob a dab of that stuff in to the insulator as you insert the wire, crimp tight, tug on to verify and you should be good to go.

You should be able to gently work your way down the wires and pull the connections clear from the housing. I'm not 100% familiar with your bike, but can't you remove the headlight to make access easier? Let us know how it works out.

You might also try one last check on eBay for the lenses. If it's the small 'bullet' signals that you have, they have those available for about $5, I think. I thought those might be hard to find, but easily was able to get them for my '03 Spirit 750. I'm also going to replace the sockets inside my signals, front and back, to make them running lights too, with LED bulbs. Already got the LED bulbs, which should fit perfectly, for just about $1.25 each, shipped.

These are small rectangle lenses, I could probably buy some clear or amber plastic and dremel it to shape, but I'm really not that handy haha. And yes, it looks like I'll definitely need to remove the headlight cover at a minimum to get to where the wires connect. They feed into the back, so I'll figure that out as I go.
