Good morning everyone (unless it's afternoon/evening in your time zone).

I'm hoping for some advice on what to do with my front forks. I'm restoring my bike after a crash and subsequent outdoor storage for 11yrs and my front forks corroded pretty badly. I used a wire brush on the corrosion but the metal looks like hell now.

What can I do to make these forks look better again?

They have a thick clear coat on them that is what is scratched off.
You have to take all of it off to polish the aluminum.
But after a crash are they still in perfect condition?
No use polishing a bent fork.

Hey thanks for your reply, yes the forks are in great shape. I had highway bars and the way the bike rolled they stayed in good shape. Just look like hell right now is all.
