I am trying to get my sabre cleaned up and after cleaning the spokes on the wife's spirit and making those wheels shine I want to make the wheels on my sabre shine. Don't get me wrong the cast loom is nice but time make them stand out some. Any ideas or what kinda polish I should use.

I am tagging along on this thread because I am interested in what's the best. In my 6 months of research I've learned that a product called Blue Magic Metal Cream Polish is the best at producing a shine. The caveat is that your wheels are without any defects otherwise. If you have deep pitting then more drastic measures are called for. http://www.autozone.com/wash-cleane...ish/blue-magic-metal-cream-polish/142419_0_0/

Unless you want endless hours of grinding, sanding and polishing, youre better off having someone who does it for a living do it for you. And its not cast, its machining marks.

Ok. Well mainly wondering those that have done this what polishing compounds have they used. I work in a parts store so getting the stuff isn't a problem. There are so many just wanting some recommendations. And should I use a PowerShell or something like it

Using some Blue Magic now and seems to work well. I've used Autosol, Mothers Mag and Aluminum polish, and Turtle Wax Chrome polish. All work well, and I don't really have a preference, but the Blue Magic and Mothers seemed to work the best, with the Autosol working well also. Guess I'm not much help?
