I must have been good or Santa was tired of me whining :D.
Santa brought me Hotwired vest and Mother-in-law gave me Hotwired gloves. Tried them out today, left the house at 8:30 it was 35 degrees but I was nice and toasty, only had on a long sleeved t-shirt, heated vest and winter riding coat up top. Never did turn the vest up to max and gloves stayed on low. Ended up riding 273 miles, not bad for a winter day. Winter won't be so long now that I can get a little more riding days in.

Excellent!

You must be living right.

Told Santa what I wanted for Christmas, a month ago.
He washed my mouth out with soap.

Congrats...I've been reading mostly mixed reviews of various heated gloves, and for the price am discouraged, with many saying they don't really keep your hands all that warm, but since you like yours, please tell us what brand they are that keep you so toasty in such chilly weather for such a long ride.

Brand is Sedici Hotwired. Yep they are very bulky but very warm even turned off, most of the time I had them on low setting at 35 degrees Also note the I don't have a windshield. I used a Y connector so the vest and the gloves are controlled separately, without the Y connector I could see why some folks say they didn't heat well ( I tried it that way once ). I did buy my wife the Sedici heated glove liners but she hasn't tried them yet, they look good and she can use her regular gloves. She has a windshield so that should help.

Being wired is so nice, I just don't understand how others can say they don't work good, maybe if you get the battery operated ones that may be so, but the best way is the wired to bike, makes a world of difference in keeping a little toast....e on the rides, I just use a single controller and works fine for me, being old and years past frostbitten hands the warmth is really appreciated.............
