For those familar with the Santa Monica mountains, the planned route is:

(one-way down to PCH). Lunch at Malibu Fish & Seafood, up Latigo Canyon Rd. to Mulholland Hwy West. Down Encinal Canyon Rd. to PCH. North to Leo Carillo State Park. Up Mulholland Hwy to Little Sycamore Canyon Rd to Yerba Buena Rd., and back down to PCH a little north of Neptune's Net. Total distance is 105 miles. Total ride time, not accounting for stops is about 3 hours.

Hey, SoCal folk!

Looks like Solo is bringing Woody's Journal over to San Diego area on 12 May! (Check out the Woody's Journal section)

Not to rain on anyone's parade, but you might want to hook up to get yer paws on the journal when it comes through SoCal!

Cant do the 12th, will be in Arizona. A bunch of guys rode this weekend (Warrior ride) and one of us took big spill and missed me by 2 feet. We were doing the Lockwood valley run and he slid on the "lake" that went accross the road. He is fine but his bike is now messed up and in my garage.

Read about it and look at the pics here....

Anyway, it was a tense moment for a few. He just hit the curve too fast and when he saw me crawling on the water, he could not stop in time. He is in good spirits and we will be pulling together to get his bike up and running. Be CAREFUL out there!
