Just installed Scootworks vlx 600 rear lowering kit and it looks f'n sweet. Much better wheel gap under the huge bobtail type fender. Had to build my own spring compressor though with ideas from threads from this site plus a twist of my own ideas. Thanks for that! I'll post bike pics when I remember to take some.

Is that a 4 bolt flanged bearing housing you used to compress the spring?

Yeah, sizing was almost a perfect
match, only a little filing was required. Whole compressor build cost about $15. And worked great!
