Hi all. I just acquired a 1992 Shadow VT1100C and looking to get some technical advice or help with it as I'm a new rider and new to motorcycles.
This bike has some cosmetic damage. I'm looking to figure out options for those repairs: large dent in tank, pitted forks, scrape to left rear shock, bent foot peg.
It runs well, but does have a bit of a backfire sound to it especially during shifting. I haven't checked into it as I'm not qualified to do so by any means. If anyone has any thoughts regarding any of this, please let me know. Especially if you are in the Seattle area or Eastside/Kirkland area. Although I'm willing to ride anywhere in the area for help and camaraderie.
