I removed the taillight ass'y on my Shadow by removing the 10mm nuts inside the rear fender, (I was installling a turn signal relocation bracket and wanted to route the wiring along the existing harness).

It re-installed fine, except the ass'y seems to have some wiggle to it, even though everything is tightened up. It can move up & down by about 1/4" or so each way. I never thought to check it before the removal. Is it typical for the taillight to have some play in it or should I get the wrench back out?

I know my stock tail light assembly has about a 1/4" play in it easy. I think it is due to the rubber base on the tail light that gives it flexibility.
