I need some recommendations on new signals for both the front and back ends for my Phantom.

The guy I bought my bike off of last year got rid of the stock signals and installed little LED strip integrated brake/signal (you can see it in my signature) and the front have two little LED strips.

The problem: when I hit the left signal, occasionally both in the front turn on. The green indicator won't flash when that happens. When I turn on the right signal, everything works fine. Like I said it's intermittent.

Troubleshooting: I've gone through both the front and rear ends and resoldered the connections (they were quick release connections before) and then used shrink tube to seal the connection.

I noticed some of the wires on the front are less than 22guage wire and I have a feeling that is why I'm having issues. In the front, the wires all feed into this tiny bar that the LEDs are on and I have a good feeling that is where the issue is

Since redoing the connections, the problem has NOT been solved. I'd like to get some new signals that have real wires and that look good on my blacked out bike.

Any suggestions/links would be greatly appreciated!

You need resistors on the two back lights and a new flasher. That will solve hyper flash and four way flash. On mine I added rears that look like 1/4 size stock and got rid of the fronts opting for turn signal mirrors.

I pulled out the indicator bulb (which was too dim to see half the time anyway) and haven't had the issue since.

I think I'd make it work properly whether you can see it all the time or not. The way it is now without it is only good until you forget your signal and someone pulls in front you thinking you're turning. But that's just me.

When I started mucking about with LED lights and plasma bars and the like, the best thing that I bought was a replacement flasher relay that was made for LED lights.

Yup. As everyone else has already stated, buy the led flasher relay. They're about $1.50 and are an ease to install. I had similar intermittent issues like you did before installing mine. Sometimes flashed, sometimes didn't, etc.

I bought a cycleworks led flasher relay and still had four way flash until I added the resistors into the mix-on my rears only. I experimented with various flashers and light/resistor combinations. Led flasher solves hyper flash, resistors solves four way flash.
