Well, I hope all you guys where the real winter exists are happy now. The Southeast got dumped on pretty good yesterday. About three inches here. I know, a mere dusting where you live in the North and Northeast.

It still keeps us (most of us anyway) from riding today and maybe tomorrow. (The sun is shineing bright and the snow is melting fast.)

Sorry, I will still take this over 24 to 36 inches of snow.

Ride safe.

Yep it has been a strange one. Snow is a rare occurrance in South Louisiana and we got it 3 times this winter. Odd since it hasn't snowed here in about a decade.

I don't ride much in the rain, much less snow but I will agree that I will take this over what has been happening in the northeast. It all evens out. They will be enjoying a nice summer ride while we will be gripeing about 100 degree weather.

This is what it looks like from my front porch. Been like this pretty much since New Year's; taken 5 minutes ago:

As for riding in the Southern heat in July and August, I'll take that any day of the week over this sh*t, my Brother's!

Yeah, I met Easyrider 2 yesterday in Plains, fer lunch...
He and his wife came south to get out of the snow and cold fer a spell...

I had to get a pic of mine in the snow...
I rode there from the stall in which she sleeps, and back...that was enough snow riding fer me...

I was in Atlanta when it snowed. By the airport we got about 4-5 inches. My flight for Saturday early morning was cancelled and I didn't get back to Nebraska until 10 pm tonight. I just got all unpacked and am getting ready to hit the sack. It was pretty funny being from up north and listening to the tv coverage! Luckily I made it to my hotel right when the snow started so I didn't have to drive in Atlanta traffic with that slushy mess.
