It's off the stands now and waiting for a nice sunny day to get some good pictures.

The stand setup was his idea. Drilled four holes in the concrete floor, put in some threaded inserts (don't know what they are called) and screwed in some large eye bolts. Jacked the bike up, put down the jack stands and pipes and lowered the bike. Used nylon straps hooked to the eye bolts to snug everything down. Bike was rock solid. Loosened the straps jacked the bike up a bit, removed the jack stands and let the bike down. Unscrewed the eye bolts and there's nothing to trip over.

Is it a VTX 1300 or 1800?

I will take a punt and say he is a mucisian of some kind?

VTX1800. He plays sax.
