If there isn't one in you tool kit you can buy them from bike bandit or partsfish.com a 98 VT1100 C has the tool you will need in the kit, if you need a bike to enter for parts look up, and I believe Sears may carry them.
cool thanks for the advice. im gonna have to try sears for a thin wall i guess. i dont have a 12pt deep socket i got a battery in her today and all the electronics work on her good, just gotta let the kreem finish drying, tune her up and try to start her up, i cant wait
i found that the tool in the tool kit works the best, especially for the rear plug. i had trouble getting the socket wrench in there. with the honda tool, you don't need to take off the seat or the tank. the honda socket has a flat wrench that turns the socket, you just ned to take the side cover off and move a few hoses. way easier.
