Getting ready to replace a back tire and in looking at my handbook, it states you should replace your tubes each time you change out a tire. Do you replace your tube without obvious reason to do so?

Most definitely. Always change the tube when you change the tire.

I agree if replacing the tires go ahead and change the tubes. Your gonna have the tires off anyway so for the extra few dollars change those tubes out as well. My tubes cost me $12 each just a few weeks ago.

Where are you buying your tube? Next time you need a tube...I will knock $15 off that price for you and even include shipping.

Seriously though...you can get a tube from the dealer for less than $20.

One reason I ask is, I'm surprised my Honda dealer didn't suggest (or pressure) I replace the tube last time he did the rear tire. Thinkin' about holding on to the replaced tube and stickin' it in the bottom of the saddlebag as a backup on longer rides.

Don't forget to add a little tire slime while you're changing them. That stuff is worth it's weight in gold. errr slime, when you meet that well placed, misplaced nail, tack, thorn in the road.
