You electrical system will handle it just fine but your flasher relay probably wont. LEDs have such a small draw the the relay thinks the bulb is dead and will flash rapidly

You do realize those tail lights cost $1,000 per side, right?

From where, GM? Ive been a bodyman for 20 yrs and I can assure you that you can get them brand new for a fraction of that. And due to the very low need for replacements the used market is even cheaper.
