Hello I have a 2010 Phantom and love it! I wear a belt with a metal buckle and I am wanting to find a good protector for my tank. I am wondering if there is a clear tape that is no-mar like masking tape that I can put on the tank? I was thinking that there is a tape people with airplanes use to cover gaps and hinges?

Ask around or search online for, this is gonna start some crap... Clear bra installers...Like the bras on cars, but clear to protect the paint. A friend has had the front of his Vette and Viper done, yep rich dude. It goes on like window tint, it is clear and dam near un detectable. I need to get mine done, but the place he used shut down so???

You could get a tank bra or use that stuff they sell to put on headlights to keep rocks from breaking them, it's clear stuff and you would only need just a little, or change to smaller buckle..............
