this has got to be the best thing ever!

in the what "i learned this week" thread, i posted about my new forward controls for my 2003 shadow ACE.

welp, I polished them up this morning (took about 3 hours), and i installed them (took about an hour and a half, including dragging the wife off the phone/HGTV nipple so she could take the pics)

just for reference, I'm 6'1" (36" inseam), and about 215-220 lbs. the bike is otherwise stock.

shifter side, before.

shifter side, after.

brake side, before.

brake side, after.

and a comparsion after the shifter was done, before the brake was.

0k...so now you know. if you are at all tall, get this or something like it. I cannot explain how much more comfortable the bike is with just this "little" change.

as more events happen, I'll keep you posted.

yeah, and it better stop pretty soon.....

I've got a garage (and a storage unit, and the outside of a shop) full of cars that are mid-way thru their custom journeys.

Looks like a great improvement. Congrats on the start of what will undoubtably be a long expensive journey through the fields of customization.
