Dammit.. I was out in Upper Hutt last week and wanted to use the remains of the Mangaroa station on what was the Rimutaka Hill line, but wasn't certain where to go. Was planning to grab that one this week.

Bonus from the Ulysses Remembrance Run at Taupo a couple of years back. Not exactly a 'sweeping vista', but has bikes in it, and a vista. My bike is in the picture, but parked way up in the distance. Nothing like Sturgis, but a few hundred bikes at least - and that's just those in the parade.

They (and some V-22 Ospreys) have been flying up and down the beach, twice a day, all week. (There's a Marine Corps Air Station nearby.) Just happened to be on the bike at the right time,
