Who would feel the need to mill a fuel tank out of a solid block of aluminum-ium-ium... That's just too much alumijimun-yum. :neutral: .. Ways and means to impress.. The superfluous overindulgence in engineering to justify a massive price tag isn't one of them.

Let's face it, hardly anyone would ever know what you are riding, and would probably think it is some kind of knock-off made in China. You know, something ARCH Bunker would try to explain to Edith, Meathead, and Gloria... then when explaining the cost, nobody would believe it. Kind of feel it would be an instant buyers remorse, 78k worth!

Nothing against their workmanship, but I got no desire to own one. Ride one, yes! But own one, nah... Someone's gotta want 'em, but good for them, they won't have to wait in line behind me. :lol:

Lets see, $78,000 for 121 hp @ rear wheel. Valks have 100 hp. VMax 165 hp. Don't see it being a great seller even to the wealthy. They would buy Duc's.

I'm heading off to the basement to finalize my designs for a different mousetrap. Not necessarily better, but different.
It'll cost about $50,000.00. I'm looking for investors.
Hell, all we need to do is find one person who will buy it and we'll make a tidy profit.

Ferrari's are great cars but you can get a Chevy Camaro and make it corner like one, build one very high horsepower small block V8 and still have enough change left over to go to a nice steak house weekly for years to come for the same money. same applies here.

Think of it this way (assuming you are a Harley fan). You can buy (3) brand new Street Glides maxed out with every option for $78K. If you're not a Harley fan, you can buy a dozen really nice VTX 1800's (of every model) for $78k. Victory X-Country's - at least 3 maybe 4 of them. Indian Chieftains - maybe 3 maxed out. LOL

If you are talking the kiwi John Britten yes he did have make a V twin..... but being so few got made you could buy a lot of those bike to one Britten

$500,000 might buy you one if you are lucky

if the link works Guy Martin seams to like the Britten, have to watch adds first here, not sure if its available world wide

Ignore the price of either of them, look at what you chose to ride.. Now look at a Yamaha R1 and think why you didn't buy that instead.

Now look at the Britten or even the Buell and if it cost the same as your bike and you were never going to be able to sell it for more than you would get for your bike, would you still want it?
