After about 75 hours of work, repairing a worn gear using a drillpress as a vertical milling machine, finding out that complete gasket sets aren't, finding and correcting two water and one oil leak, my 85 VT1100 rides again!
Only downside to the story, as I was pulling into a gas station after about a 5 mile highway test run, I got into some cinders and gravel at about 2 miles an hour and dumped it. No damage except to my pride and my back from reaching down and picking it back by the handlebars. Adrenaline is an amazing thing.
Hope to see alot of people on the road this year.
