The cub is an amazing plane. I forgot what the stall speed is but I believe it is somewhere around 30 knots. I have heard of pilots setting them down in tree tops after losing an engine and walking away from the accident.
Hehe, I can glide straight down, and have too! I'll have you know it's nowhere near as terrifying as it's made out to be. It even becomes fun after a few hundred of them. :wink:
The only thing that truly scares the s**t out of me in a helicopter is settling with power. Even when you do it at altitude (to practice recovery) it's an aggressive, unpredictable pucker moment. At least in an R22 it is.

In Florida, we don’t park the bikes for winter and have that time to work on it.
In Florida we get a few weeks in spring when the love bugs are all over. That’s when we park the bikes and do all our maintenance stuff!
