Some old threads talk about this a little but I wanted to get y'all's opinions anyway.

I have a 2009 Honda Shadow Aero 750 with a Bridgestone Exedra G701 tire on the front and a G702 on the back. When riding in temps around 40 degrees F, how long should I let the tires warm up before I leaned into any corners? There are some twisties that I like to take about 5 minutes from my house and want to know if I need to let the tires warm up before I take them. BTW, they are new tires with about 200 miles on them now.

So at 40 degrees, why the need to find out? I'd wait until warmer weather to find out for sure. Cold and/or wet conditions are not exactly the ideal conditions regardless the tire brand and also throw in road debris which is present more in the winter months. If you have the need, I would use Shinko tire as they are probably the "stickiest" of the tires but their longevity isn't as great as the Bridgestones. Dunlops 404 variants are the worse.
