I'm buying new tires, looking to run 140/80-17 on the front 170/80-15 on the rear. I have spoked rims so I'm told I'll need tubes but I'm having trouble finding out what size I need. Most of what I've seen have codes similar to tire sizes and I'm guessing that the last number indicates the rim size? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The stock front tire size for your Ace is 120/90-18. Why a different size? For tubes front would be a 17" type A and rear would be a 15" type A.

You're right, I ordered the wrong front tire without realizing it. Luckily I was able to cancel it before it shipped.

Yes, make sure you get the type "A" tubes.

Yes. I'd throw DynaBeads into that order but that's just me. Reclaiming the old ones doesn't seem to be worth the effort. And baby powder.

Changing the tires yourself? If so, take a look at this -- something I want to try next time:
o removal
o installation
Seems to me this would be an ideal way to prevent pinching the tubes -- something I manage to do quite well.
