So I am looking to do Tunnel of Trees 4th of July weekend. I was wondering if anyone here has been there. I have property that we do a fireworks show from just north of Cadillac, MI. So I am looking to ride along the shore from Traverse City and back thru the Tunnel. I think it would make for a great ride. Also looking to do a ride around the thumb one Saturday after doing a few more tweaks on the new bike. >

I've done the Tunnel of Trees in mid-October with the colors changing. It was gorgeous.

My advice would be to try and do it before or after the holiday weekend if you're staying longer. My first run was on a normal Friday and I had the road pretty much to myself. The second run was the next day, a normal Saturday, and all the old people were out creeping along.
