As the title says, Im looking at these two different bags for my 02 Spirit 750. I have already moved the turn signals so thats not an issue.

Honda 750 Shadow Spirit Motorcycle Saddlebags Large Shock Cut Slanted

Honda 750 Shadow Spirit Motorcycle Saddlebags Large Charger Slanted

Im really wanting to get the bags without the cutout, for two obvious reasons, they're cheaper and more room. But Im concerned about the bags sticking out to far from the bag to accommodate the oversized shock.

Anyone have any pics of the bags with or without cut out on a 750 Spirit?

I think you're going to be disappointed with the size of those bags. I got them and they aren't nearly as roomy on the inside as the dimensions would lead you to believe. Couldn't even fit my lunch bag inside them. I would go with shock cutout just because you're going to need all the help you can get to mount those things.

I'd shop for Saddleman instead. Too many folk have had issues with Viking customer service when thing go south. If you use Edge Brackets it makes install a breeze and can be removed extremely quick. Make your self a cardbord template by dimensions and picture displayed on a the web site of the vendor you are visiting. Also shock cutouts might make adjusting shocks difficult.
