I am sure this has been covered in the past but has anybody tried accel's universal super coil kit on a vt500? It would be nice to replace the ****** stock ignition with something with a lot more 'oomph'.

Be sure and check what type of plug wire they need.
My Dyna coil's have to run solid core wire and it will play hell with
elect. stuff like radio's, I-pad's, phone's and blue tooth stuff.

Make sure the primary impedance is very close to stock or you'll likely be buying new cdi's
