I'm restoring/bobbing my '84 VT700 and have a question: how compatible are the '86 parts with the '84 parts? In specific, I'm looking at a set of front frame covers (not to be confused with the much-coveted side covers) to replace the missing ones from my bike. The one problem is that I can only find '86 covers on eBay. Will these work?
