Rode barefoot when I was a kid, no biggie... knocking around town, 10' tall and bulletproof, no helmet, just shorts and a bikini top... never thought a thing about it 'til I pulled up to a stop sign one day on fresh asphalt. Decided to wear my flip flops after that

I used to ride barefoot in cut-offs too but I prefer FF and full gear now.

Nope - he's a pretty smart guy, and he's been riding like that as long as I've lived there. I've never seen him with footwear of any kind. I think he stopped wearing shoes about 25 years ago. He's in his 70's.

There's a nice AGATT stat for ya - a quarter century of barefoot ridin'.

Guess You have to have a shady place to keep the bike parked. Starting in the sunshine could be painfull.:shock:

I think the biggest benefit of riding barefoot is no more toe jam!

Riding barefoot hurts my feet when I change my gear up.
