Hello,

Being quite new to riding (just this summer), and livingin Ontario, I am starting to think about what I need to do to ready my 2004 Honda Shadow Aero for the winter.

Is there a thread out there with easy steps? I am not the most handy person, but would like to learn how to care for my bike.

If you have a garage or a place to keep during bad weather then I would recommend
Getting a good battery tender to keep the battery up when not riding (if you do not have a maintenance free battery you have to keep checking the water level)
Add fuel stabelizer to a fresh tank of gas and run it 5/10 miles before parking it to make sure it gets into the system
Check the tires for correct pressure
Some park the bike on a piece of carpet or something to keep it off the cement (some yes and some say it doesn't matter)...I think it helps
Ride it when the weather is ok for a short ride or so and follow up the above...........
