Have a 2009 Honda Shadow 750 Aero that will not start. It has been sitting for 8 months with a full tank of gas and a stabilizer added.
Thoughts?
- Battery has been on a tender and fully charged. Gone through several charging cycles trying to get the bike started.
- Bike will run for a short amount of time when using starter fluid so it is getting air and spark.
- Do not smell gas after motor has been cranking for a while. Normally would expect to smell gas at this point.
- Fuel valve is open.
- Service was done last year and all filters were replaced.
- Does not appear to have a fuel pump.
