I'm sure there probably is but I ended up making my own. I found a piece of flat steel that was the right thickness and then ground it to fit in the groove. Then all you need is an adjustable wrench to turn it. Worked like a charm.

Yes, but only once. When I bought my bike the engine was completely disassembled and I had to learn how to put it back together the hard way. Anyway, the engine has about 30k miles on it and showed practically no signs of wear except for the shift fork for second gear, hence the reason for taking it apart.
I think the only way to get a good look at the cam chain boss is to take the top covers and the heads off and pull the bosses out. To do that you need to pull the engine. Yippee....
What makes you think there's wear? Are you having timing trouble? Is it making noise? Just wondering.

If I'm not mistaken, 35kms is just under 22k miles, roughly. I can't imagine that the chains are worn enough to make any noise. I have heard an engine where the cam chain was very loose because the mechanic that was putting it together forgot to pull the 2mm pin that holds the tensioner spring back. ( I won't mention who that was :p   ) Anyway, that sounded like someone was tapping on the side of the block with a small hammer. And it made that noise all the time, idle, high rpm, low rpm, all the time. So that makes me think you should be looking for something else.
Are you feeling any vibrations when you let off? Could it possibly be something in the drive train like the u-joint on the front of the shaft? Just a thought.
