Good Evening, My avatar name is RandLoki, I just bought a 1999 Shadow VLX Deluxe today. They bike looks like its in amazing shape. My grandfather who has owned several bikes and who works on them quite often was always a big fan of forums. I thought I would join. I am in the heart of winter here in Saginaw, MI. I want to just take off and ride so bad! Its been about 10 years since I rode. My first bike was a 1979 Kawasaki 650.
My only concern with the bike I just bought is A, I wasn't able to ride it. and B. The left blinker seems to be sticky or shorted. The previous owner told me it starts working when its warm, the right blinker works fine and the left just craps out. I would like to fix this and may create a separate post when the time comes, its too cold to even work in the garage right now.
