I've checked around and can't find any aftermarket windshields for my 2010 Shadow RS. Does anyone know where I can get one for this model/year or do you know if other Shadow windshields will fit this bike. I've looked on the web at JC Whitney and a few other MC parts sites and had no luck. The issue seems to be that the RS is so new that no one stocks windshields for them yet.

Something like the Spitfire that mounts to the handle bars should be easy to put on the RS. Just make sure you get one with the right size mounts. I'm pretty sure that Honda also sells the small boulevard screen for the RS....it's real tiny though. Someone posted pics of their Phantom with it installed.

Edited to add:

It was RBinTEX that posted his Phantom with the Boulevard screen:

According to the Honda site it's available for the RS as well.

There are some nice universal handlebar mounted windshields that do a good job and look good at the same time. Here is one that I bought for my bike that has worked out well. I don't personally like the looks of the spitfire style so I went for one that has the chrome straps that go across the front and back for increased stability.

What brand and model is that? I have a spit fire and, like you, don't like the looks of it.

I ran across this one on the internet several months ago. I don't know what brand it is, but it is pretty well made for this type of windshield. Slipstreamer makes one that looks similar to mine called the "police shield" but it isn't as large as the one I have now. http://www.motoshop.net/mm5/merchan...c?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=WS&Product_Code=PUDS710360-ATT&Category_Code=UNIVERSAL

I have had one before on another bike of mine and it wasn't made as well as the one I have now. This windshield I have now is about 19" across and 17" from the top of the headlight cutout to the top of the shield. It is about 22" tall overall. You may be able to find one by searching around the web.

The RS is a slender bike though - can you post a pic of your bike from the front?
Here is what I got for mine.
Its sturdy, looks pretty sleek, adjusts in height and angle, and it wont break the bank. It comes with everything you need. Hasnt given me any issues at all. I cant understand why others cost so damn much.

CLICK ON THE PICS to to zoom and see how it is mounted.
