Bought my bike last year and it came with some decent saddlebags. Except the left bag had a big tear. They seem to be made of pleather/vinyl. Is this something that would be easier repaired or replaced? Any tips on diy repair?

Depends on where the tear is, if it's at a seam just get a larger leather needle and sew it back up. I had to modify mine to fit around a back rest. Used a small leather punch, larger needle and some waxed thread.

I have a set that I need to make the same decision on...
I`m a procrastinator, and practice it well...
When I need to, I`ll decide....
Good Luck, and WELCOME

I'd give a shot at repairing it. If it came out good enough, I'd keep it. If not I'd replace.
