Take the old one up to an auto parts store. I know some Honda auto stats work.

 

tried that and the guy at carquest cant find the right one... i was just wondering if anyone knew off hand the stant part #

 

I'm willing to bet a Stant45868 or Autozone 15868 would do it. 180degree stats.

 

I have some info about that but not sure.
My friend claim that the nissan micra k10 1000-1200ccm and daihatsu charade 1983-1987 1000ccm

well you guys wanted me to post results.. bad news and even more bad news... the stant thermostat was an 1/8" too big... however i have even bigger problems.... turns out not only a bad thermostat was the problem so is the fact my bike has a blown head gasket...... oh when it rains it pours with my bike.... every summer i have to replace something... its becoming a money pit....:???:

 

That sucks sorry to hear. Thought about getting a complete motor of ebay?

 

nah just gonna have my mechanic fix the head gasket for me.......He is a mechanic at the local Victory dealership and he does work at home on the side and only charges 20 bucks an hour labor...... so i may get by for under 500 for this repair.... hopefully i can go a summer or two without anymore problems after this......this bike has to hold on for 2 years yet then im goin for something newer and turning this one into a bobber........

 

I wish I had a guy like that. 2o is dirt cheap I just drop 130 in labor for a fork rebuild alone!

 

i still need to find a thermostat though
