VT1000 Carb hose routings

I had to take the carbs off to fix a problem, and now am trying to reconnect all the hoses. Thought I had good documentation but finding I didn't. I have two hoses that I cannot figure out where they go. The first is a thin hose on top of the carbs labeled "1". The second is on the left lower side of the cylinders and is labeled "7".
Does anyone know where those hoses connect to?

You didn't tell what year.
Is it a Calif bike with evap emissions?

If so here are some diagrams from the 1995 era VT1100.
