As many will attest, go with a 39 or 38 tooth sprocket with a 120 link chain.

 

I have a good idea why this is, but maybe you should explain.

 

I have a 38 Tooth sprocket on my Spirit and I LOVE it. As it Lowers the revs on the highway , sort of like giving you another gear. Its Great. "Do a search on this site for this Mod, plenty of Info here"

 

Considering the OP only has 5 posts and you offered something other than what he was looking for, it wouldn't hurt to explain why.

 

The 525 is the right size chain for the stock size sprockets. 17 teeth on the front and 41 on the back sprocket is what was stock on my 2006. 125 sounds about right for the OEM length. Don't go to more than 41 and don't go lower than 37. You don't really have enough room to make changes to front sprocket so stay with the stock 17 teeth. Chain length will vary based on what rear teeth count you choose. If you go with the most popular size of 38, then go with the 120 link chain. 38 is preference.

 

This is kind of a dumb question, but i just want to be 100% sure. Does it matter if the chain says, VLX, Cbr, etc, etc, as long as it's still a 525-120 chain...? What about the 38T sprocket?

A 525 chain is a 525 chain and 120 links is a 120 links. Order you 38 tooth sprocket in 525 width.

 

I've ordered parts from this guy before and haven't had a problem. However, looking over this listing for the chain, it says displacement (cc) up to 350. Doesn't make any sense to me. Would it still work, or be too weak of a chain for the 750?

That's what Honda put on it. Should be good enough. I've gone over 45,000 miles and never broke a chain.
