I have a 1994 Honda shadow 600VLX that is not getting fuel from the tank to the pump. I have replaced the pump and the fuel filter and I’ve cleaned what I can from the peacock valve. But when I turn open the line no fuel comes out. Curious on what to do.

I'd remove the tank from the motorcycle and remove the petcock from the tank. My bet is that the plastic screen that's supposed to be filtering out the big stuff, up inside the tank ahead of the petcock, has degraded down into plastic sand, and that mixed with the iron oxide dust is clogging the petcock.

Be careful handing your tank. If it's not already dented it's a bad feeling getting a big dent because I'm a clumsy oaf.

The petcock unscrews from the outflow nipple on the tank, easy.

The OEM Shadow petcocks I've replaced, (needed replacing on 2 out of the 2 Shadows I've owned) aren't supposed to come apart, but it is possible to drill out the factory staking, and take one apart. Could possibly even repair/rebuild it, and certainly clean it, then drill the body, tap, and re-assemble with screws.

But me, I just bought one of the aftermarket petcocks, which are cheap and seem to work well enough. Fuel Gas Valve Petcock & Lever Screw Honda Shadow VLX VT600C VT600CD 1988 - 2007 | eBay

The coils are the last stage. The pulse generators start the process and the ICM sends a signal to the coils.
So it all should be tested first. Or you throw good money into changing parts
