I ran cobra slash cuts for a while, they are louder than stock.

 

Cobra Drag pipes.

 

Vance & Hines Cruzers produce a nice sound. Never heard a set with the baffles removed though.

 

any straight through pipe that has a baffle and no fiberglass packing will be loud. You could just hack the mufflers off the stock head pipes and insert a small baffle.

but WHY do you want an unnecessarily loud exhaust? other than being annoying to everyone else and eventually yourself, they usually sound awful, and make less power. I'd personally stick to a system that has a nice muffler that will be louder than stock, actually sound good, and make better power.

 

Uncorked pipes are very annoying. My baffles are back in after guys on harleys saying they cant hear their own bike while riding behind me.

 

While I accept that "one man's noise is another man's music", I'm kinda with 2500 on this one.

 

I had cobra on my VLX and V&H on my ACE - love the V&H!!!!!

 

personally la little loud helps when your bike purrs like a kitten,,,,you can rev as you get to a light when your lane is open letting cagers know you are there and not to cut you off
