I've had mine for 6 months now, good as new still.
They get all the "gettin dirty and scrubbing clean" treatment as the rest of the bike.
Probably the easiest mod available that makes an interesting visual difference.
Yep, good quality.

 

Depends on the bike. I had a pair on the ACE before I got it painted and they were steel. Good quality and they added a nice touch.

 

Got a pair from Cruiser Customizing last fall. They look good and the fit is snug.

How do the hold up to scratching? Also, is there a product that helps to fade scratches away on plastic?
