Will a 2006 or 2007 shadow VT1100C gas tank fit on a 1998 VT1100 tourer?

the fuel tanks will fit. they are the same from 1987 to 2007 as far as the fit goes from mounting hole to mounting hole. the 1987 to 1996 with the offset gas cap holds about 3.4 gal. of fuel. and the 97 to date tank holds about 4.3 gal. of fuel. you may have to change the fuel shut off valve.also check where the vent tube is on the tank, and use your old gas cap!
