I'm partial to the Kuryakyn Skeleton Hand Mirrors myself.

Because... well.. skeleton hands.

 

i don't like all the themed mirrors like the skeletons or reapers and all that stuff. just personal preference.

i had a pair of stock vtx1300r mirrors on my aero. i didn't like the "mouse ears" either. haha

You're not weird, at least not with your thoughts on Mirrors.....

The round mirrors are part of the Retro look with the Aero.

Had I not been craving the turn signal mirrors for over 6 months I would have kept the round ones. I wanted the additional LED lights especialy at night. Plus they are Chrome which will go with my chromed out..... welll everything ... lol

The Kuryakyn's I am installing arent that much different actually.

 

Tried 3 different sets of after market mirrors including the Kuryakyn skeleton hand mirrors. Ended up returning all of them due to the same reason - they become absolutely worthless once I hit 70-75 mph. Ended up seeing double/triple images in the mirror.

The mickey mouse ears even though are not aesthetically pleasing, they get the job done. Zero vibrations even when I hit 90-95 mph. Unfortunately not a big fan of the mickey mouse ears. Granted they don't have the themed look, but they definitely look better than the MM ears and the best part - ZERO vibrations. I got mine from my local Honda stealership for $15 each.

 

Had these on my bike when I got it but had no idea what they were, When I got my second bike (For the girlfriend to ride at the time) I seen a set on JC Whitney that looked the same so I ordered them for $12 I think and wouldn't you know it there were the same mirrors, Just looked and there selling for $36 now LOL But there the same as in your DK link. Great mirrors and no vibration on these what so ever. Look good too.

I got both pairs of OEM round and rectangle mirrors. Both in excellent condition if anyone wants to buy them.

 

The mouse ears do look kinda funny. I just ordered these and they should be here Friday. I dont buy anything from Kuryakyn there stuff just seems to fall to crap over time. We'll see how these look since I have never seen them in person.

I've got these on my bike and they're awesome. Best part, the signals on the mirrors remind me when I've left my signal on much better than the indicator light which I don't see unless I'm specifically looking for it.

I highly recommend them.

I got these from eBay last year. They're not anything special looking, but they're big and have a great view of what's behind. They've stayed on tight, too.

How do the mirrors change when there put on 12 inch apes?
