You've done a lot to your Bike and it looks good.

Your Pictures don't do it justice though....

Here's mine BEFORE and AFTER: (i've added stuff since the after pic)

Yes, they are the Cobra Swept Floorboards.

got a great deal on them on Ebay, seller (Dealer) didn't know what they had and were selling them as used "Passenger Floorboards".
There wasn't a scratch on them, like new.

get this $46.51! ($27.55 + $18.96 shipping) I kid you not.

here's the link:

Do you really want to own a Bike with a Carburetor again?
lmao good point may just skip the X but i do love the way they look. i wouldn't mine owning all 3. only time will tell for now i finish my bike pay it off and ride it.

Bike looks great Booger! You have definitely made it yours, I love the vtx, it is perfect for me and my needs.
If your bike fits you and makes you and the bride happy ride that baby! I got rid of the Aero I had because it was going to cost too much to make it good and comfy for me. I sold it after zero mods and made $600, I added $500 to it and got a really well equipped X, the Aero's big brother. I loved the Aero, but it was my first bike and I knew it was a stepping stone for me.
Great job, cannot wait for after paint pics, get well lit close ups:)

Carb.... and my 06 aero and spirit were carb bikes. I do like FI bikes, but GOOD gas and good maintenance carbs ain't bad.
My next probably will have FI.

Looks great. You should look at a chrome hub cover. Mine is by Cobra and really dresses up the front wheel. I got it from eBay fairly cheap. Did you put the spoke wraps on the back too?

i thought about it but my main reason for not doing the rear is you can't see the back wheel with the bags. once i get it out in the sun and see how it looks i may do the rear if it looks odd. but i honestly don't think you will be able to tell. so for now just the front is done we will see.
