Just got back from our first father daughter ride she is 10. First we cleaned the bike and after a little practice leaning with me we we were off to explore the neighborhood. Went and got some ice cream then watched her play in the fountain then back home. It was great. I think I have creted a future rider. Cant wait till she is old enough for her own bike.

I put many miles on a bike with my daughter starting about that age. She grew up to get married, just had her own daughter. She rides a small scooter and I'm sure the grandaughter will grow up to love bikes, too.

My granddaughters - 9 & 7 - are wanting to ride with me. I've been looking for helmets for them. They said they want a helmet that is black, blue, and pink with butterfly's and skulls on it :) LOL!

Anyway, what kind & size of helmet did you get for them? And pointers?

My daughter is 10 too, and I was SOO tempted to bring her on a short ride today...but only having ridden for two weeks, I'd rather not put her at risk.

Congrats on an AWESOME Father's Day. She may not know it now, but she'll look back and remember these moments with you :-D

My son was back at home from Seattle last week. Unfortunately he has to head back on Saturday. So he, my wife and I went on my Father's Day ride on Thursday. Great weather, great roads, perfect temperature and a dinner stop. The experience lasted almost three hours. It was the first time we all rode together. Great time.

So on Father's Day, while my wife worked, I manned a yard sale that almost no one came to. I had plenty of time to polish my bike and the wife's VLX. They look great!

My son and I went for a fathers day ride yesterday evening. I let him ride the 84 700 on the way back home. Big step up from his 07 230L. He really liked it, but was a little scared, but he did great!
