Wind screen options

Howdie folks... New to this site. Just got myself a very very nice red 2007 Spirit, and am already wanting to add stuff to it.

Firstly, I would like to add a wind screen to it.

I usually go for the Memphis Shades Fats screen, but I am thinking that this screen may appear to be too big for this style of bike.

I think I might prefer something smaller that will do just as good of a job of keeping the wind buffeting off my chest, and as much of my helmet as possible.

So, what are other owners who have a windscreen on their Spirits using to accomplish what I would like to achieve?

Thanks lots in advance for any and all responses.

Welcome to the forum.
POST A PIC!! of your bike.
Can't really help you with the windshield question, other then to say a small one works just fine. Mine does exactly as you need.
Sorry I don't have a brand name for you cause it's as old as my bike.

I'm six feet tall and my windshield comes to just below nose height while sitting. I find this keeps the bugs out of my face yet I don't have anything in my line of sight. The width is such that the edge of the shield is about at the first bend in the bars. Works good for me.

National cycle Switchblade shields are nice

I have National cycle Switchblade windshield and like it. YOu can get a couple diff sizes if u like and do a quick switch as the riding mood suits ya.

Welcome, Rabbit. You will like it here.

We think some bikes look better with a minimal screen, while some tote a big sail just fine. There are Spirits (750's) and then there are Spirits (1100's). What manner of Spirit do you own?

We think that with the 750 Spirit, a wind screen can indeed be too large to fit will with the chopped/bobbed look of the bike. Less is better on that model, with the trade off that the small screens do not do as good a job of protecting the rider.

We think on the 1100's, the larger screens look fine.
