As the winter closes in here I must say I am sad beacuse I can't get out on my bike. I had forgotten about that feeling during my in between non-bike years. Every time I go through my garage and see my beauty I talk to her and say "just a little more time". It's just Dec and we have a long winter ahead. I hope my bike doesn't forget me.

It sure is nice living a little further south.
I rode 150 miles yesterday, about 50-55 degrees in heat of the day and plan on riding to work Monday and the last day of the year. Daytime highs both days about 43-44 degrees.
Most people around here have put their bikes up for the winter too. In my prime roads to ride a motorcycle yesterday, I only saw about 6 or 7 other bikes. Doubt if I will see any the next 2 days.

I live in the greater Boston area and I have not ridden since early November. I am experiencing withdrawal from my bike and I can't wait to take it out of the garage come spring. In the meantime I have a set of hard bags to install, along with some old pin striping to remove. The previous owner wrote "Wyatt" along with some stupid tribal design, its gotta go I don't like riding a bike with a dude's name.

On the plus side I will be heading down to Florida and renting a Harley to ride from Ft Lauderdale to Key West and back, so at least I've got that to look forward to.

Welcome. As a returning rider I too had forgotten the winter withdrawal. Be careful, though. Don't let people hear you talking to your mc. They'll start looking at you funny and pretty soon will suggest that you get counseling.

It's 57 degrees today, and I have to work. Tomorrow I have the day off and it's only going to be 46? But, I still may take a short ride, just layer some warm clothes on. Seems like the weekends are cold (30's), and during the week when I have to work, it's always warm (50's) at least for Colorado.
