I put a 1978 Goldwing on my 01 Shadow Spirit. Not a bolt up but if you like the looks of a particular fender you can fab some brackets and make it work.

You can also use a Sportster style fender. need longer bolts and a thicker spacer. Had one on before the wing fender.

This was the Harley style fender.

 

OK bought the fender. Close to fitting. Seems the 2001 750 spirit forks are wider than the 2005 vlx 600

 

If it lines up with the mounting holes and clears the tire when it's not sitting on the other fender, you should be able to make a pair of spacers to take up the space. Zoom in on my pic and you will see an example. One side will be a bit narrower due to the bracket on the left side.

 

I’m going to take the bracket off and see how tight the fender is. I think I will need to be up a bout 3/4 to 1 inch. Then out to fill space. Other option is to cut fender mount down to use stock bracket. I would need to drill and tap new holes. Much more involved and easier for me to screw it up.

To much other stuff going on with family and life. I finished the easy projects first. 2007 SV650S, 2008 SV640SA, 2001 Snowbear 4x8 trailer and a 2006 Suzuki S40 all fix and sold. Spent 2 months at moms living with her to help with new hip. Doing a 2010 SV650SA now as it is just cosmetics. Selling these for my income as I’m unemployed right now and not much hiring. Did just pickup a 1973 TC100

Once I can get the ownership sorted I will go full time on the shadow. Did try to buy a 1987 Shadow 750. Very clean running needed tires $1300 obo asking. Just 15.5 hours north of me. If no COVID-19 $250 flight up cert and taxed two day ( chilly ) ride home. Would ha been a sweet start to the season. Although I did just wake up to 4-6 cm of snow.

Well random luck Ad popped up for 2002 Shadow Spirit 750 parts. White front fender, both side covers, chain guard, 4 signals All i need to finish other than tires and clean up carbs. Plus all other chrome and windshield $275. Picking it up Tomorrow. Life gets lucky.
