Kuryakyn Scythes, sorry, it's not a honda

 

I really like those mirrors, I just dont like how high up they sit.

Bernie, those aren't mirrors, There just shiney slivers. As far how mirrors look on bikes, you just need some imagination. There really isn;t that many different mirrors out there. Plus why are you buying new mirrors, looks-better rear/side vision, ect.

 

mainly looks, I have such broad shoulders I cant see out of the mirrors anyway.

 

Just take them off in that case.

 

I like this idea for a thread. My bike has those ridiculous round chrome Mickey Mouse ears and I have to tuck in my elbow to see behind me. I've been looking for something more tear-drop shaped that will extend about an inch further, and maybe a bit lower. I've been looking at several different mirrors, but seeing them on a bike would be very helpful.

Oh I had these on my Sabre and really liked them

 

The slender oval of my mirrors are basically framed in the flames like on the arms leading to the actual mirror in the top photo.

Kuryakyn Ellipse. These have a long mounting stem. I couldn't see past me with the stock Sabre mirrors.

 

I have the Kuryakan (sp?) flame mirrors on my gal.
Important thing to keep in mind or at least with mine anyway, they cannot likely be seen out of. I don't rely on my mirrors anyway but all the better reason.
And very important tip: If you take your bike to be serviced and cannot see out of your mirrors, make sure you tell the guys in the shop!!!! The idiot taking mine for a spin to listen for a sound I was hearing nearly crashed because of this.

 

Kuryakyn makes these Trident mirrors--http://www.kuryakyn.com/Products/3877/Trident-Mirrors. The arms themselves can be pivoted up and down. I have their Magnum Plus mirrors. Stems are 2" longer then stock mirrors.

 

I like those! To bad you cant pick different mirror shapes to go on them.

 

I've got the show chrome twisted mirrors and matching risers. I like the look and am very pleased with how they function. Best mirrors I've owned.

 

These are the Arlen Ness lg teardrops I found on eBay and had on another bike. First thing I put on my 93 1100.

Good idea... here are mine. Got them from DimeCitycycle.com Great guys to deal with, bought a pile of stuff from them. The mirrors are a bit small but what they lack in size them make up for in style

I got mine from eBay $21.99 and $5 for the mirror mounts.
I was going to run them like everyone else, mounted them low instead.
No problems using them that way. Just have to look back under my arms.

I got these they are kuryakyn Maltese cross mirrors. I like the mirrors and they seem to be very functional as well, I have only had them for about a month now.

Yea i`ve seen them on ebay they`re cheap like 20-30 bucks,the only thing is they`re low i can only see out of one of them and i have to kinda slouch to see,it`s alot of turning my head.
