Corbin

I went directly through corbin. I believe it is www.corbin.com. You can check their site for the diffrent features and I am going to get the backrest at the first opportunitiy. My corbin comes with a small flap that covers the hole where the back rest sets in. That way you can easily remove it for short trips.

Hope this helps

I bought mine thru' the dealer. Since I bought the bike there, I get a 10% discount on parts. It was cheaper than I could find it anywhere else, including stealBay.

i have a Corbin seat and for short rides(under 250 miles) its a good seat but for longer rides or for multiple day rides a use a custom seat made by

http://www.homestead.com/prosites-rmcycle/index.html

i can go 400 or 500 miles a day with no problems for my butt or back. do yourself a favor and get a custom seat you will like it. also check out his guarantee.

p.s. i did not have to use his guarantee, it felt so good right out of the box.

Wow, I just looked at that guys site. I could be convinced to get my saddle built by him. The price seems right. Anyone else ever get a saddle from this guy?

this is off of his web site

"As many are aware, each July we, the Mayer family venture off to the BMWOA rally-this year in Beautiful Wisconsin."

how far is Wisconsin from you ? take a trip to that rally and talk to him about a seat for your bike. good excuse for a trip. :D

well, shoot him a e-mail and meet Rick at the BMW meet. he can take your measurements and make your seat when he gets home. don't know if he is on a working vacation or not, if he is making seats at the meet you can see how they are made and sit on some seats to see if it meets your expectations. i think you will like what you see and sit on, but don't foreget he makes the seat to fit you so a seat that he has may not fit you exactly. he makes them one at a time to fit the rider.
