I went directly through corbin. I believe it is www.corbin.com. You can check their site for the diffrent features and I am going to get the backrest at the first opportunitiy. My corbin comes with a small flap that covers the hole where the back rest sets in. That way you can easily remove it for short trips.

I bought mine thru' the dealer. Since I bought the bike there, I get a 10% discount on parts. It was cheaper than I could find it anywhere else, including stealBay.

i have a Corbin seat and for short rides(under 250 miles) its a good seat but for longer rides or for multiple day rides a use a custom seat made by

well, shoot him a e-mail and meet Rick at the BMW meet. he can take your measurements and make your seat when he gets home. don't know if he is on a working vacation or not, if he is making seats at the meet you can see how they are made and sit on some seats to see if it meets your expectations. i think you will like what you see and sit on, but don't foreget he makes the seat to fit you so a seat that he has may not fit you exactly. he makes them one at a time to fit the rider.
